Swing Timing App — Terms of Use

Welcome to Swing Timing. By downloading or using this application, you agree to these terms.

1. Purpose. Swing Timing is an independent training tool that helps you practice baseball swing timing using audio metronome cues. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Major League Baseball, MLB Advanced Media, Sony, or MLB® The Show™.
2. Subscriptions. Premium access may require an auto-renewable annual subscription after any free trial period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your device account subscription settings.
3. Disclaimer. Information and audio cues are provided for practice reference only. We do not guarantee specific in-game or real-world performance results. Use at your own risk.
4. Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

Elethor / Swing Timing respects your privacy. This policy describes what we collect when you use the mobile app and how we use it.

1. Data we collect

• Account information — If you sign in (email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google), we receive identifiers and profile data needed to create and manage your account (such as email address, display name, and user ID).
• App data — Settings and preferences you save, trial and subscription status, and timestamps related to access (stored in Google Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore).
• Purchases — Subscription status is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We store subscription state linked to your account to provide premium features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Guest use — You may use limited features without an account; in that case we do not create a user profile in our backend.

2. How we use data

• Authenticate you and provide the service.
• Enforce free trial and subscription access.
• Improve reliability and support.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) to operate accounts and stored settings. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

4. Data retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app (Delete account on the subscription screen or profile menu). Deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account and associated Firestore profile data we control.

5. Security

We use industry-standard services and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
